Ringing in the New Year with Markets

Corn, wheat, and cotton all started the year off on a positive note with wheat leading on threats of cold weather harming some of the Plains wheat crop.  Cotton fell back to start the year, but is now challenging the 80 cent level.  Soybeans have been on a wild ride inside of a 15 cent range with Argentina forecasts driving markets.

Outside commodities including crude, copper and gold have been off to a hot start and we hope that we can see some spillover support into the ag space.

Happy New Year-we hope that it is prosperous for you!
